Adam Ross is quite simply a dude. And not just because he’s from California. Ross is one of the most exciting painters currently working in LA and a passionate communicator about his art. Thick black rimmed glasses and a larger than life character always help on that front. Growing up in LA in the 1970s left indelible images in Ross' mind. And not just eye-wateringly tight flares either. The rapidly changing urban skyline and intense smog pollution became imagery that featured heavily in his work. Somewhere between abstract, surreal, architectural and apocalyptic, Ross' recent paintings are visionary offerings from the future.
Paul Hedge is not your average gallerist either. He used to be a chef. And a postman. A proper straight talker, Hedge doesn’t like art world clap trap. He just gets on with the business he’s passionate about: working with amazing folk like Adam Ross. Both of these extraordinary characters have invited Love Art London for an exclusive preview of Adam’s show on the eve of the opening night. And if you ask nicely, Paul might share the recipe for his famous mushroom stroganoff special.
This event is for Members Only (25 Places).
