Andy Goldsworthy aims at the core of what this whole business of life on earth is all about. Rivers and Tides is a heart-wrenchingly beautiful film. In fact I’ll go all out and say it is one of the best films about art that exists. Everyone grown up enough to eat solid food should see it.
As its name suggests, The Horse Hospital used to be where you brought your trusty stead to get his broken leg fixed back in the day. Today this space, with original horse ramp entrance, cobbled floor and tethering rings, is considered by artists and performers to be London’s true home of the avant-garde and it’s right in the heart of Bloomsbury.
