Bob Carlos Clarke was the king of erotic photography. His images of celebrities are controversial and beautiful in equal measure and have always caused a hoo-hah amongst polite society. Fame always fascinated Bob, even as a young boy he wanted to be Mick Jagger. And although Bob’s notoriety was to come with his camera rather than his guitar, he did share one extraordinary talent with ol’ rubber lips. His ability to get supermodels to take their kit off. One of his sitters once said “So, how do you want me?” to which Bob replied, “Well, naked would be nice.” If only it was that simple for the rest of us Bob.

The Little Black Gallery’s last exhibition caused such a rumpus with their neighbours in Sloanesville that this time they’ve blacked out the entire gallery window, except for a peep hole that is. But fear not, we’re taking you inside to see some of his most famous works and meet some famous folks too. Lindsey Carlos Clark (Bob’s widow and former model), Tamara Beckwith (Bob’s friend and celebrity socialite) and Ghislain Pascal (Bob’s agent) will be joining us for a very special evening of conversation about Bob’s life, his work, his tragic suicide and his legacy. Unmissable folks.

This event is for Members Only (25 places)
