You’ve seen John Jones’ work all over the place even if you don't know it. Tate is full of it as are most major galleries across the globe. John Jones make bespoke frames for David Hockney, Damien Hirst, Chris Ofili and anyone who’s anyone. Works of art in their own right, they're painstakingly produced by the team of 90 craftsmen and designers. We’re taking you back stage to meet their Senior Frame Consultant for a rare glimpse at the incredible 38,000sq ft workshop to see exactly how a John Jones frame comes to life. Their work isn’t just about advising galleries and collectors the world over on material selection, colour, mounts and glazing; it’s about nurturing a creative dialogue that lasts a lifetime. Hearing these guys talk about frames is like listening to Willy Wonka talk about chocolate. Inspired.
