Human skulls, billiard tables without pockets and squashed cars - some of the mind boggling ‘found objects’ used by Mexican artist Gabriel Orozco. Where the hell you find a human skull is one of the questions we’ll be considering when we take a close look at the first major survey of Orozco's work in the UK. In one of his most famous sculptures Orozco surgically reduces a Citroen DS car to two-thirds its normal width by slicing it into three equal parts, removing the central section and then welding the two outer sections back together. Mexican madness at its finest.
