8 September

Columbian photographer Manuel Vazquez looks to cutting edge technology to make his work zing. His photographs are highly manipulated and painstakingly constructed, and in some cases a single work can consist of 100 images layered on top of each other. His recent commission to document Bush House, home of the BBC World Service, display all his signature visual trickery that make you look just that little bit closer.

Simon Roberts on the other hand is more of an opportunist. Once his tripod is in place, he waits for something to happen. And when it does he makes sure he shoots it. With his camera. His most recent gig as the official artist of this year’s General Election took him the length and breadth of the land in a campervan to capture the mood of the British people during a time of significant political change.

Manuel and Simon, two different but equally masterful craftsmen, will be taking Love Art Londoners on a personal journey into their work and the art of photography. Click.
