You don’t have to visit the Museé D’Orsay or schlep all the way to Florence to get up close and personal with great Renaissance sculpture you know. We’re taking you to the headquarters of one of the most remarkable dealers in the business for a peek at some exceptionally rare and wonderful masterpieces. We’re talking museum quality stuff here folks. And you’ll get so close to the action you’ll almost be able to touch them. Well, in fact, you will be able to touch them.
Stuart Lochhead who works alongside the grand master himself, Danny Katz, will be talking to us about an eye-popping selection of marbles, bronzes and terracotta sculptures at their private gallery deep within an 18th century townhouse in Mayfair. We’ll also be breaking you into Danny’s private office overlooking Old Bond Street to see something slightly more modern from his personal collection. The mark of a truly great dealer is combining the passion of a private collector and the expertise of a connoisseur. Elements these remarkable chaps have in abundance. An utter show-stopper folks.
