When it comes to truly exceptional contemporary jewellery, Theo Fennell is officially the man. Having been to art school, first at York and later at the Byam Shaw (now part of Central Saint Martins College of Art & Design) Theo found that his obsession with detail and his ability to interpret grand design on a miniature scale, made jewellery and silver the perfect vehicle for his art. Intelligent, witty design and exceptional craftsmanship are the cornerstones of Theo’s philosophy and to ensure the highest quality he insists most of his jewellery and silver is made by craftsmen with whom he has worked for many years. Theo himself recently said, “these pieces are genuine works of art, and I don't believe they could have been conceived, let alone made anywhere but here at Theo Fennell. We really are at the vanguard of the renaissance of one-off, hand-made jewellery." And he’s right. Theo joins us to chat through some outstanding highlights from his eye-popping collection and show us around his extraordinary flagship Fulham Road HQ, from which he’s been flogging exquisite jewels to his ever increasing client list since 1982. TOTALLY BLING.
