A year ago to this very day Love Art London was born. And to celebrate our first birthday we’ve planned something exciting. Ahem. Our pals at London’s most ambitious pop up gallery Edel Assanti have agreed to let us take over the entire space for an evening of art related tom foolery. The young scallywags behind this project have turned a former travel agents office into Edel Assanti’s four story HQ. And to retain that quintessential pop up feel, they’ve even kept the 1970s style decor in the corridors and stairways. God love that royal blue shag pile.

Edel Assanti is divided into four independent spaces and for one night only each will play host to a unique series of talks led by artists and curators who’ll be waxing lyrical about the exciting artworks on display. On Floor 1, Jack Bell will transport you into the scary world of Voodoo Art from West Africa, on Floors 2 and 3 the Edel Assanti boys will be talking about their show 365 days at 276 (it's their 1st birthday too and to celebrate the Evening Standard gave them 4/5 stars) and artist in residence Gordon Cheung will be opening up his amazing studio on Floor 4 to show us what he’s working on. Plus the Project Space in the basement will be home to a very special installation. And fear not, each short talk will be repeated at 20 minute intervals so you won’t miss a trick. Bite-sized, just the way we like it.

This event is for Members + Guests (40 places)
